Tasty Tuesday and Fan Favorites

Welcome to another Tasty Tuesday! As the weather turns chilly, I thought it would be fun to bring  back a few popular recipes from a year ago that got great reviews! Our recipes this week include cornbread, a taco bake and a delicious fruit salad!

The photos were from my dear friend Maribeth Schmidt. Maribeth has helped me out so often since I began this blog. She is such a fantastic photographer, and a dear friend. Thank you Maribeth for sharing your incredible gift with our blog readers.

So without further ado, let’s begin! We will start with the Taco Bake. Doesn’t this look hearty?

I heard from people last year that they loved the big flavor and the heartiness of this dish. My son Jake is so happy when I make this casserole. He comes home at night so hungry and he can really fill up on this one. For the directions to this recipe, click below.

These recipes are all guaranteed to be winners for your family, the kind people will ask you to bring to family dinners! They are easy to make and will definitely please your beautiful family!

So I don’t know if your life is amping up now as we head into fall. Ours is, it seems we step off of a nice leisurely summer to going Mach 2 as soon as September arrives! The calendar fills up with deadlines and events and they are all good things! But just looking at the commitments can make you feel exhausted and far away from home.

You can be a bit of a grizzly bear and carve out some protected “unplug” time every week as a family. Save yourself a couple nights a week where you can just go home and regroup as a family over dinner. Those moments sitting around the table are gold. It will be your favorite night of the week. I know the pressure and commitments can be pretty overwhelming but never feel guilty about protecting and preserving that time for your family. It’s precious time and it helps people regroup mentally and emotionally, and to really be able to rest and refuel.

I hope you enjoy these recipes, and I hope you have a fantastic week!

I’ll be back Friday for another Fashion Friday.

Love Always,

Amy
