It’s a Tasty Tuesday and the big game is coming up!
So I thought I would pull some of our family’s favorites for treats and eats for watching football! And I picked I think our all time favorites to share in one post this week. These are some of our traditional treats and I promise you they are delicious!
Today I’m sharing our recipe for Oklahoma Dip, Hot Wings, and Beacon Hill Brownies. We won’t discuss calorie count. These are the kind of foods that are so good, you just have to enjoy them and say, “No Regrets”!
Some of the pictures from today’s post come from my dear friend, Maribeth Schmidt. Maribeth has done so many awesome pictures for this blog, and she is so talented. Thank you, Maribeth!
So without further ado, let’s begin! We’ll start with Oklahoma Dip!
Oklahoma dip is a rich and savory cheese dip made with sausage and spicy tomatoes.
It’s hearty, and we use Fritos Scoops to scoop it up!
Trust me, once you make this “cheese-tastic” dip, people will be requesting it over and over again! If you would like to check out this recipe, please click here: Oklahoma Dip.
Next is one of our very favorite recipes of all time, hot wings!
There is nothing like a fresh hot plate of spicy hot wings!
There is nothing like spicy hot wings! They are so flavorful!
Trust me, our family are huge fans of hot wings, and these are by far better than any you will get in a restaurant! When we make hot wings, we go through tons of them, they are that good!
If you would like the recipe, you can find it here: hot wings
And finally, who can resist brownies while watching the game?
But not just any brownies, these are Beacon Hill Brownies!
This is so rich and decadent!
And of course, you have to serve it up with some ice cream!
If you would like the recipe for these brownies, please click here: Beacon Hill Brownies.
I hope these recipes bring some delight to your family!
There is nothing quite like watching a game together. It’s funny how an event where two teams are opposing one another can become the very thing that can brings families together. As you watch and cheer your team on, you feel the adrenaline surge, the pride in your heart for your team which becomes almost an extension of your family. And you feel the thrill of the indomitable human spirit at its best. Perseverance, training, hard work, team work, all of the players coming together, always having each other’s backs, and moving forward with their dream, another victory! It’s everything you want in a family relationship! People working together and refusing to give up! And you catch the fever along with your team. And you begin to understand that when you are working together, anything is possible!
I hope you have a fantastic week! I’ll be back Friday for another Fashion Friday!
Love Always,
Amy
